1. Acceptance of these terms

By using AllergyMate (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Bhimian on an as-is basis.

2. What AllergyMate is

AllergyMate generates allergy-communication cards translated into a target language using third-party AI models. It is an aid for communication only. It is not a medical device, medical advice, or a substitute for speaking directly with restaurant staff, a chef, or a qualified medical professional.

3. No warranty of accuracy

Translations are produced by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, ambiguities, or culturally inappropriate phrasing. You are solely responsible for verifying any translation before relying on it. Always confirm with restaurant staff verbally and, where possible, with a fluent speaker before ordering or eating.

4. Assumption of risk

Food allergies can cause serious injury or death. By using AllergyMate you acknowledge that you understand this risk and that you use the Service at your own risk. You should always carry any prescribed emergency medication (e.g. epinephrine auto-injector) regardless of any card produced by the Service.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bhimian and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to allergic reactions, illness, injury, death, loss of data, or financial loss. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract the underlying AI prompts.
• Submit content that is abusive, deceptive, or designed to harm others.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and code are owned by Bhimian. Translated cards generated for you are yours to use freely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
